I celebrated my graduation today in this gorgeous place. I am glad to say that we passed a outstanding evening and the restaurant was surely the reason for the fruitful gathering. The crew cooperated in a graceful style, the cuisine was great and my guests were so glad. We shall definitely come back again for more celebrations. thanks very much.

Staff is great, food is good, filling and inexpensive. Pancakes are bigger than your head!

My first visit and had the turkey & spinach omelet with hash browns as recommend by my son. The omelet was very good but the hash browns were the best I've had. Lots of flavor. The staff is friendly and attentive. The parking lot is small but there is a free public parking lot across the street at the library so that's not even an issue. Overall, I can't believe I've never been here despite all I've heard!

If you want great food with a retro, hometown feel, this is the place. We are never disappointed here.

Eggs were undercooked,the bacon was cooked the first time in the deepest fryer,the second time it was slipped in front of me by a server whose only interest was the next smoke break and the bacon was half raw in a puddle of grease.

The staff is always great & friendly. The food is plentiful, hot and very tasty. I previously lived in a village. This restaurant has the small town feel. Not fancy, just good food.

I have been to this restaurant many times before, but always for breakfast. This time my husband and I went for lunch. I ordered the lunch special, the pulled pork sandwich with fries and a slice of pie. My husband had the party melt. Our food arrived hot and while I can't say it was the best I ever had, it was still good. With that being said, it was very much worth the price. The servings were generous and I would definitely return.

Chef salad is positively huge. I got 2 meals out of it, and it was only $6!Usually very good quality and quantity of food. Staff is also very friendly and thoughtful.

Excellent burgers. Wonderful waffles and pancakes. Great biscuits and gravy. Huge pork tenderloins. It's a must. But go early they close at 2pm.

Hidden Gem. If you like the feel of an old fashion, down home restaurant you will love Retro Diner. Great food, large servings. Tastes great!!! Friendly service.

Passing through Leavenworth and this place didn't Disappoint! Ordered the Patty Melt, I wish I could have ordered one to go, it was Really Good!

They are closed!!! instead of saying check our Facebook for updates when you call, which says they are open. the message should say they are closed so glad I drove all the way there just to see a sign on the door saying closed

This place is fantastic. Staff was all pleasant and fun. Stacy was our server. She was amazing. The food was great at unbeatable prices. We ate until we were full and literally took 3, to go boxes of food home with us. If you haven't eaten here, you have to. You won't regret it.

The atmosphere is friendly, almost home like. They definitely pay attention to what their frequent customers order and greet them as family. The food is prepared after it is ordered which means expect a little bit of a wait time. Keep in mind the wait is more than worth it as the food is great!

Yep. It's ok. Prices are good. Portions good. Lacks flavor. A meal you could get anywhere really. Service is alright. Fits Leavenworth like a glove. Mehh.

Had a really good breakfast this morning. I've eaten there for lunch a couple of times and really enjoyed it. The service was fast and friendly at each visit. I highly recommend this restaurant and will return again.

Good food, inexpensive. Smaller diner, not allot of seating or parking but well worth the experience. If your passing through or live in the area, its a breakfast joint you don't wanna miss.

First time for me, very homey and neighborly Cafe serving breakfast and lunch, I went in for breakfast, lots of good offerings, at great prices, wait staff friendly and efficient. Breakfast arrived, plenty of food, walked out extremely satisfied with the whole experience. I'll definitely be back. Great job retro!

Delicious, hardcore American breakfast at it's best, my meal was $12 and too big for me to finish. Great scrambled eggs and hashbrowns. Eat here. Not sure why people are complaining about slow service, I walked in, sat at the counter and was eating within 5 minutes.

I was impressed by this place I'm from out of town so I won't get to go back probably but if I ever went back to Leavenworth I know exactly the first place I would go for breakfast the things that stand out for me in my memory are that it was a good value and they weren't chincy on the bacon which some places are I remember it seemed like maybe it was kind of small? That would be my only complaint

Big portions, casual setting. It's small and rough around the edges, but I love the huge, non matching coffee mugs and servers who don't have to wear a uniform. Very hometown feel.
